From-The-Couch is officially my favourite new website!
Started by the brothers Perel, Marc & David to be exact, also the founders of Obox & We-Are-Not-Freelancers (one of the coolest designed blogs around!), it is the first (that i know of..) Video Blog by South Africans, the site has a clean retro theme.
The Episode 1.1- Rapid Deployment, focused on- how quickly and easily, people even with basic computer technical skills can use sites like WordPress and Viddler, how they created their site and why they think everyone else you should jump straight on the a video bloging platform. They also ”mention the brilliance of Gary Vaynerchuk and the cost of starting a video blog.”
Episode 2- Lessons Learned, focused on the launch of From-The-Couch and the “surprising” feedback and response which they had been getting from the site, which shouldnt have really been too surprising since they have an amazing product! They also talked about a lesson they had learned that day, about biting of more than you can chew..
I’ve heard via their Twitter grape-vine that (yay) Episode 3- Meeting People, shall be online tomorrow (Oh and their shall be NO couch this time, couch 2.0 already!)! So definately checkkk it out, and all the previous ones if you havent already!
